I knew the moment that I first met Alexandra and David (via Facetime funny enough) that their wedding day was going to be the best of everything…super fun, spirited, romantic and with plenty of impeccable details to feast my lens on. With an elegant palette of summer pastels, their wedding day vision of a “seaside watercolor” was set to life by the talents of Duke & VanDeusen at the one and only Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club. Sag Harbor Florist nailed the florals, pulling inspiration from the beach grass on the dunes, and incorporating subtle varying hues of blue/green with pops of purple to combine a scent of lavender with the salt air. The bridesmaids’ two piece BHLDN ensembles were elegant and “beachy boho” fabulous, while the bride kept it classic in a timeless Romona Keveza gown, and exciting with her electric blue Jimmy Choo pumps. The groom’s woven loafers by Artemis Design Co. cannot go unmentioned, especially since he gifted a pair to each of his groomsmen! And perhaps one of my favorite beach details were the beautiful escort cards/beach glass handmade by LettersfromEden on Etsy. Their wedding day really was the epitome of all we love in the Hamptons, beginning at a beautiful cedar shake home in Sagaponack with stunning gardens and towering hedges, then the vintage convertible car to arrive at their oceanfront soiree. The surf was awesome that day, and the sunset literally could not have been any more perfect, seemingly made just for them. The dance party was lively to say the least as Peat Moss & The Fertilizers brought their best good ‘ol Rock & Roll before the party closed the only way any Hamptons wedding on the ocean should…with a bon fire. Enjoy the summer wedding inspiration!
